The Spanish economy continues to be the main driving force of the Eurozone, registering the highest growth among major European countries between July and September. According to provisional data, Spain observed an increase in its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 0.8%. However, there are concerns about rising inflation in the country. The Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) predicts that inflation may rise slightly towards the end of the year, closing at levels close to 2%. This increase, however, is subject to various potential influences. After four months of moderation, prices have begun to accelerate in growth, nearing the 2% mark set by the European Central Bank (BCE) as an indicator of ‘stability’.

The Brent opened with virtually no change, at a price of 72.01 dollars per barrel. The gold opened the session with virtually no change, at a price of 2557.9 dollars per ounce. Now, regarding equity, the EURO STOXX 50 started the session with virtually no change, at 4795.99 points. The DAX 30 started the session with virtually no change, in 19230.39 points, the FTSE 100 started the session with virtually no change, at 8040.26 points, and the EURONEXT 100 started the session with virtually no change, at 1441.87 points.

Close to market opening, the following macroeconomic indicators for Europe were published:, the CPI (YoY) of Spain in October (1.8%). Throughout the day the following indicators will be published: the core CPI (YoY) of Spain in October., the GDP (MoM) of Eurozone in Q3.

The best performers at the beginning of the day have been UNICAJA (+2.157 %), ARCELORMITTAL (+1.724 %) and IAG GROUP with a change of (+1.692 %) on its values respectively. The worst performers at the beginning of the day have been INDRA (-0.918 %), LABORATORIOS ROVI (-0.917 %) and AMADEUS with a change of (-0.866 %) on its values respectively.
