The Spanish economy is experiencing continuous upward adjustments as noted by analysts both domestically and internationally, including the Spanish Secretary of Commerce and Business, Carlos Cuerpo. The Madrid Stock Exchange hit a new annual high, surpassing the 11,800 points mark, with a boost from Wall Street, European markets, and China’s economic stimulus efforts. The Spanish Government has upgraded its growth forecast for the coming years, expecting the GDP to rise by 0.3% more than previously calculated for 2024, to 2.7%, and 0.2% more for 2025 and 2026 to 2.4% and 2.2% respectively. The unemployment rate is expected to fall to 10% along with the creation of 500,000 jobs annually as indicated by the updated macroeconomic report. The Spanish service sector saw a 5.2% annual increase in production in July.

The Brent is finishing the session with an increase of 0.19%, to reach the 74.26 dollars per barrel. The gold finished the session with an increase of 0.39%, quoting at 2662.6 dollars per ounce. Now, regarding equity, the EURO STOXX 50 at the end of the session lost (-0.48) %, going back to 4917.24 points. the DAX ended the session losing (-0.3) % going back to 18920.52 points, the FTSE 100 finished with losses of (-0.4)%, going back to 8267.44 points, and the EURONEXT 100 by the end of the day lost (-0.37)%, going back to 1483.31 points.
