Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has confirmed there will be no fiscal cutbacks in Spain’s financial plan proposed to the European Commission. Notwithstanding this, Spain’s global economic ranking has dropped from eighth to sixteenth place over recent years. The role of American investment in understanding the Spanish economy was also acknowledged, with a welcoming attitude towards foreign investment as conditions are being created for companies to find a conducive environment in Madrid. Meanwhile, the Iberian market sees movement as InstaVolt penetrates energetically with a commitment of 250 chargers for electric vehicles and an ambition to deploy 5,000 rapid charging points in Spain and Portugal. Finally, a report from the Bank of Spain discloses a significant wage gap in the country between the public and private sectors, one of the largest in the Eurozone, with a difference of up to 29%.

The Brent opened with virtually no change, at a price of 77.89 dollars per barrel. The gold opened the session with virtually no change, at a price of 2632.4 dollars per ounce. Now, regarding equity, the EURO STOXX 50 started the session with virtually no change, at 4937.58 points. The DAX 30 started the session with virtually no change, in 19028.71 points, the FTSE 100 started the session with virtually no change, at 8229.32 points, and the EURONEXT 100 started the session with virtually no change, at 1477.97 points.
