Carlos Cuerpo, the Spanish Minister of Economy, Trade, and Enterprise, announced an important update to the macroeconomic forecasts. The update projects an optimistic review of the growth predicted for 2024, which now stands at 2.7%, a rise from the former 2.4%. This update also details the progress seen in individual earnings, with the average gross salary surging 4.1% in 2022 to reach an annual sum of 26,948 euros. Furthermore, the gender pay gap has seen a decrease, now positioned at 8.96%. These announcements offer a positive outlook for Spain’s recuperating economy, highlighting growth and improvements in economic disparities.

The Brent opened with virtually no change, at a price of 74.37 dollars per barrel. The gold opened the session with virtually no change, at a price of 2643.7 dollars per ounce. Now, regarding equity, the EURO STOXX 50 started the session with virtually no change, at 4855.38 points. The DAX 30 started the session with virtually no change, in 18707.97 points, the FTSE 100 started the session with virtually no change, at 8223.58 points, and the EURONEXT 100 started the session with virtually no change, at 1468.56 points.
