Up until mid-day, the IBEX has got an increase of 0.82 % to reach the 11731.8 points.


The Bank of Spain has upgraded its economic growth forecasts for the upcoming years, setting its GDP growth prediction in 2024 at 2.8%, a rise of half a percentage point. Similarly, the institution expects growth of 2.2% and 1.9% for 2025 and 2026, respectively, increasing the projections by three and two tenths. These revisions reflect a favorable scenario marked by significant job creation extending throughout the projection horizon. However, the institution issued a cautionary note concerning several open fronts at an international, national, and regional level in the coming months. On a separate note, Spanish startup Luzia has tripled its workforce in just one year, demonstrating a strong labor market trend in the country. The public debt is not expected to be reduced below 10 and the public accounts deficit will remain above 3% in 2026.

The Brent reached mid-day with losses of (-1.19 %), going down to 72.23 dollars per barrel. The gold until mid-day has had a decrease of (-0.45 %), diminishing its price to 2600.0 dollars per ounce. Now, regarding equity, the EURO STOXX 50 has gained 0.5 % until mid-day, reaching 4870.46 points. The DAX 30, with a 0.42 % gained until mid-day, is reaching 18766.59 points, the FTSE 100 has been going up 0.06 % until mid-day, reaching 8342.25 points, and the EURONEXT 100 has been gaining 0.29 % until mid-day, reaching 1477.56 points.
