The Spanish economy continues to retain its strong entrepreneurial foundation with around 3 million SMEs currently active, as per data from Plataforma Pyme, of the State Secretariat of Industry. 2022 saw the economy finally recover, particularly in the labor market and society. Government negotiations and agreements also factored into the economy’s improvement, with the president aiming for balanced deals that would mutually benefit parties involved. There’s also an evident rise in interest from overseas travelers, particularly from the U.S., boosting the Spanish tourism market.
