The Spanish Government is undergoing a fiscal reform to impose new taxes on major energy firms and the banking sector which has sparked outcry from the industry, citing ramifications on Spanish competitiveness. Additionally, the Government intends to inject €200m into the economy as part of this fiscal plan. In the broader financial landscape, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) reported a growth rate of 0.5% in the gross domestic product (GDP) from July to September, indicating a steady expansion of the Spanish economy. However, challenges remain, as business tycoons fear the new taxes could impose heavier burdens on corporate performances, influencing market trends.

The Brent is finishing the session with an increase of 0.48%, to reach the 73.89 dollars per barrel. The gold closed this session with losses of (-0.1)%, diminishing its price to 2670.8 dollars per ounce. Now, regarding equity, the EURO STOXX 50 at the end of the session gained 1.02 %, reaching 4756.82 points. the DAX ended the session gaining 0.89 % reaching 19147.41 points, the FTSE 100 finished with gains of 0.83 %, reaching 8151.59 points, and the EURONEXT 100 by the end of the day gained 1.06 %, reaching 1435.01 points.
