The Spanish economy is performing exceptionally well compared to other nations in the Eurozone, according to the latest forecasts from the European Commission. It is expected that Spain’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will grow by 3% in 2024, surpassing the Spanish Government’s initial expectation of 2.7% growth. With a forecast of between 2.1% and 3% GDP growth, Spain is predicted to be the leading European economy in terms of growth. Furthermore, the European Commission also anticipates that Spain will reduce its public deficit to 3% of the GDP this year, in line with the fiscal rules of the European Union. As for the Eurozone, the European Commission has raised its GDP growth forecasts to 0.8% and 1.3% for 2024 and 2025 respectively.
