The Spanish economy is demonstrating robustness with projections suggesting an upward revision, driven by a strong service sector, booming tourism, constructive labor-market conditions, and significant migration influx. The general director of Economy for the Bank of Spain, Ángel Gavilán, confirms this growth. Mergers and acquisitions activity in the Spanish market also reinforces this trend, registering 2,647 agreements until October – a 2% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The capital mobilized hit 81.352 billion Euros, showing a 19% rise, according to TTR Data’s monthly report. AIReF elevates Spanish GDP growth forecasts to 2.9% in 2024 and improving to 2.3% in 2025.
