Spain has become the sixth largest global destination for foreign direct investment projects since 2019, highlighting its attractive market conditions. In terms of economic outlook, AIReF, the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility, has revised up its GDP growth forecast to 2.9% for 2024 and to 2.3% for 2025. These positive changes estimate a promising outlook for Spain’s economy over the next few years and make the country an increasingly appealing destination for foreign investors. These figures, coupled with Spain’s position as a major FDI recipient, reflect a robust and resilient Spanish economy, setting itself up to attract more international businesses and establish itself as a leading global investment hub.
