In addition, housing scarcity in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, and Málaga has increased due to demand driven by work and tourism. Meanwhile, the Chamber of Commerce’s latest Business Climate Study registers concern among small businesses about the economy’s future, with 50% showing clear pessimism. Furthermore, consulting firm McKinsey & Company’s bi-annual index monitors the progress of energy transition and its impact on the country’s industry. Despite uncertainties around Eurozone growth and moderating prices prompting expected cuts, a slight recovery in consumers’ purchasing power and a drop in inflation are seen as favourable factors for large-scale sector companies.

Now, regarding equity, the EURO STOXX 50 started the session with virtually no change, at 4927.9 points. The DAX 30 started the session with virtually no change, in 19533.2 points, the FTSE 100 started the session with virtually no change, at 8324.83 points, and the EURONEXT 100 started the session with virtually no change, at 1477.13 points.
