In Spain, companies Return and Benbros Energy have announced a collaboration to develop over 500 MW in future storage projects, aiming to boost the country’s transition towards renewable energy. This emerges alongside Madrid-based Barclays’ Vice President’s announcement to take on a new role starting November 15. Meanwhile, the production of accommodation services in Spain increased 3.5% between January and July compared to the same period in 2023. Despite this growth, it was highlighted that the Spanish labor market excludes workers over the age of 55. Furthermore, labor-intensive services have seen increased costs, surpassing energy and food as the core of the IPC.
