The Spanish National Institute of Statistics (INE) has revised upwards the GDP growth figures for Spain, demonstrating the resilience of the Spanish economy amid global disturbances. The new estimates show an improved growth of 2.7% in 2023, 6.2% in 2022, and 6.7% in 2021. This robust growth, driven by strong internal demand, suggests that the Spanish economy is better balanced and fiscally responsible than previously assessed. Additionally, the upward revisions, which are part of the regular statistical revisions following Eurostat standards, indicate significant growth in critical sectors. The revisions establish more than 33% of the Spanish economy as a strategically relevant market, generating substantial changes in the country’s social and economic landscape.

The Brent reached mid-day with losses of (-1.08 %), going down to 72.51 dollars per barrel. The gold until mid-day has had an increase of 0.14 %, quoting at 2599.3 dollars per ounce. Now, regarding equity, the EURO STOXX 50 has lost (-0.29 %) until mid-day, going back to 4848.56 points. The DAX 30, with a (-0.1 %) loss until mid-day, is going back to 18721.56 points, the FTSE 100 has lost (-0.39 %) until mid-dat, going back to 8262.06 points, and the EURONEXT 100 has been losing (-0.26 %) until mid-day, going back to 1468.66 points.
